Atlas
A personal agent for the services and devices I run.
Launch Atlas demo — Fictional conversations and device results. No access to home devices.
Built on Hermes
Atlas uses Hermes to connect a Signal conversation to the services and devices I run at home and at my cabin.
I check whether a reading is current and whether a requested action actually happened. If a tool fails and Atlas uses a fallback, its reply needs to make that clear.
What the demo shows
The conversation includes thermostat and lighting controls, music playback, network checks, camera images, and current-events research with source checks.
My contribution and the system boundary
Atlas is my personal agent built on the upstream Hermes project. I develop the surrounding tool integrations and workflows. My work also covers action permissions and checking what those tools actually did.
The website walkthrough uses fictional home, cabin, and research requests. It shows how the agent reports observations and action results. It is a demonstration of the interaction, not a public control panel.
